Smuuti Skin Kiwi Clear Serum is a gentle yet comprehensive exfoliating serum that offers all the benefits associated with skin exfoliation. This serum contains kiwi extract, a fruit acid complex, as well as AHA, BHA, and PHA. The serum helps with impurities, reduces inflammation, exfoliates dead skin cells, and provides moisture, brightness, and softness to the skin. Its milky texture offers lightweight hydration without a sticky sensation. It does not contain added fragrances or animal-derived ingredients and is suitable for all skin types.
Exfoliation in five different ways
Kiwi extract contains the exfoliating enzyme actinidain, providing an extremely gentle form of exfoliation. Kiwi also contains skin-brightening vitamin C and nourishing vitamin E. Additionally, kiwi is rich in other nutrients and antioxidants.
The fruit acid complex is a compound made up of various plant extracts and contains five different AHAs. It offers a gentle yet effective way to exfoliate the skin. This compound is bioactive and stable, ensuring it works effectively on the skin and remains potent throughout the product’s use. It exfoliates dead skin cells, stimulates skin renewal, and brightens the skin.
AHAs are water-soluble, exfoliating the surface layers of the skin and providing moisture. AHAs are most effective for whiteheads, surface texture, and brightening the skin tone. Glycolic acid, present in the product at a concentration of 0.5 %, also stimulates collagen production in the skin.
BHAs are oil-soluble, offering deeper exfoliation from within the pores. BHAs are most effective for blackheads, clogged pores, smoothing the skin, and reducing inflammation. The product contains 0.5 % salicylic acid as the BHA.
PHAs are the next-generation AHAs. They are also water-soluble and very gentle, providing effective moisture to the skin and helping to smooth surface roughness. The product uses gluconolactone at a concentration of 2 % as the PHA.
How to use
Apply the product to clean face, either before or after toner. You can use the product daily, but 1-3 times a week is sufficient to benefit from exfoliation. It does not contain added fragrances or animal-derived ingredients and is suitable for all skin types.
