mixsoon Bean Essence is a unique essence that simultaneously hydrates and strengthens, while also exfoliating and softening the skin. This product is a bestseller in Korea and is also mixsoon’s best-selling product internationally. Its thick texture resembles snail mucin, and it is vegan and fragrance-free.

Minimal ingredients

This essence contains only three fermented extracts and a few other ingredients from those extracts. Fermented soybean provides moisture and strengthens the skin barrier and microbiome. Fermented pomegranate extract offers gentle natural exfoliation. The minimal ingredient list makes this product a great choice for sensitive skin.

For moisture or exfoliation

The essence can be used as a leave-on treatment, like a serum, or as an exfoliant. If used as a leave-on essence, take a couple of pumps of the product and apply it to the face and neck area. Pat the product into the skin to enhance absorption. When used this way, it leaves the skin with a beautiful “glass skin” finish and preps it perfectly for makeup. You can use it every day, morning and night.

If used as an exfoliant, take a few pumps of the product and begin massaging it onto the face in circular motions. After a moment, you may start to feel dead skin cells loosening, leaving the skin softer. Wipe off the excess product with a cotton pad or rinse your face, and then continue with your regular skincare routine. As an exfoliant, it can be used 1-3 times per week.

How to use

For daily use:

1. After toner, apply a couple of pumps of the essence.
2. Pat it into the skin and finish with a moisturizer.

For exfoliation:

1. Take a few pumps of the essence and massage it into the skin for a couple of minutes.
2. Once you feel dead skin, blackheads, and sebum loosening, rinse your face with water and finish with a moisturizer.
