Beauty Of Joseon Revive Eye Serum: Ginseng + Retinal is an anti-aging eye cream that suits all skin types, even sensitive skin.

Retinal – anti-age vitamin A

Vitamin A is constantly discussed in skin care as it is known to be the most effective ingredient for treating the signs of aging. However, retinol, which is typically used in skin care, has to be converted twice in order for it to be activated in the skin.

Revive Eye Serum contains 2 % of retinal liposomes, with a retinal concentration of 0,02 %. Retinal, or retinaldehyde, is a form of vitamin A that only needs to be converted once for it to be activated in the skin. Retinal enhances collagen production, reduces fine lines and regenerates the skin.

Ginseng – traditional but effective

In addition the serum contains 10 % ginseng extract. Ginseng has been used in Korea for a long time and during the Joseon Dynasty it was called “shincho”, meaning the herb of gods. Ginseng contains saponin, which also helps prevent signs of aging.

How to use

Apply a small amount around the eye area. Since retinal can sensitize the skin to the sun’s UV-radiation, we recommend using Revive Eye Serum only in the evenings. Start using the product only a couple times a week before using it daily.
